Our Royal Museums Greenwich Terra Nova cap features a bold design inspired by the emblem of the 1912 British Antarctic Expedition led by Captain Robert F Scott.
The natural, earthy colours of this 6-panel cap and embroidery have been inspired by the colours of the textiles that would have been worn and used on an endeavour such as Scott's.
- Fully adjustable with a Velcro strap - Adult size one size fits all
- Washable: Hand Wash Only
Exclusive to Royal Museums Greenwich. Part of the Terra Nova collection, which includes matching hoodie and T-shirt. Created in response to the new Polar Worlds gallery at the National Maritime Museum.
The official Terra Nova emblem was designed by Edward Wilson, the expedition’s chief scientist and artist and was used on all the officers’ cutlery, dinnerware and on headed notepaper. Examples of artefacts featuring this logo can be seen in the new gallery.
